Fun while it lasted (for 2 days)
We had been looking for a blu-ray player for some time and finally bought this since it streamed netflix. It lasted all of 2 days.
Initial signs were not good.

Overall great player
Player works and looks great. Downsides are the fact that you have to use an ethernet cable to connect to the internet, but I believe that is standard for BD players.

Good Buy
Picture quality is great, but responce time is little slow, so much blah-blah about the firmware updates — just connect it to the network and let it do his own upgrades.

Be sure to buy the extended warranty
I purchased this over the Sony due to load times and the Netflix streaming feature. I loved everything about it except the unlit remote.

Good player, but BEWARE firmware!
I purchased this as a family Christmas gift and until last week was satisfied. That was before the latest firmware download crashed the unit.

Connected with Dennon and bose acoustimas – excellent output
Now have spent around a month with this – connected the DVD to a Samsung LCD 46″ Series 5, Denon AVR-1709 Receiver, Bose Acoustimas 16 setup.
