Freezing – Can’t Even Watch a Movie Anymore
When I bought a Sony BDP-S301, I enjoyed it enough to buy another for my other TV. At first, both worked fine, though a little slow to start up or accept an eject command.

Wished I had returned it.
Bought mine in May and have had nothing but problems. The majority of discs won’t play the first time. Very slow loading too.

Refurbished Equipment
I should have sent the unit back. It takes a stpd amount of time (many minutes) to load a disk and often requires the disk to be reloaded several times.

HD is great, player is not
I’ve had this player for about a year now. I get incredibly frustrated almost every time I use it. It takes about 1 minute to start up.

If it’s not Scottish, it’s crap!

Sony BDP-S300
I have been a dedicated Sony customer, purchasing Sony products for most of my AV requirements. As a rule Sony products are very good performers for the price paid.
